The Son of Neptune

Ok, so I just finished reading the second book of The Heroes of Olympus series yesterday. I bought the book this Monday, then I finished it the next day. :((
I'm sad because this book has another cliffhanger ending, and the next book will come out next year.
The feeling is like, I'm left hanging at the edge of the cliff. Which is probably why they call it cliffhangers.

But, other than that, man was this book great! And I SO mean it.
I do not have the intention of spoiling. So, therefore, I will not tell anything about what happened to Percy, Hazel and Frank. :)

One thing that I liked about the whole series (Including The Percy Jackson and the Olympians) was that it was full of unexpected inspiring quotes (that I forgot already due the annual cliffhangers that I am experiencing). Riordan never fails to include at least one in every book. That adds another reason as to why I love this series. As in I really LOVE IT. And the one that I mentioned (the one above)...I dunno, I just felt like...it was SO right. We only realize how important one thing is to us the moment we lose it. And for a god, who doesn't die at all, they wouldn't really see how life really is but us mortals..well...okay...I hope you get my point cause I don't want to say anything anymore.

When I realized that I was already halfway through finishing, I couldn't help thinking that "So this is how it feels to actually hold the book in the middle." Cause most of the time, when I am reading, I tend to not notice that I am already in the middle. And, when I was still in elementary, I used to see a lot of high school in our school holding the book, and reading it at the exact middle. "Just like in the movies" I would usually say to myself, then now...I'm like that too.

Just as I said, I have absolutely no intention of spoiling you. But, then again, here is the last page of The Son of Neptune. Though, you wouldn't really understand it if you haven't read the book.

(Took this picture when I just removed it from the plastic...oh memories...)
